Belfort Construction Limited is a Barrie-based construction firm led by principals with deep roots in heavy civil, structural, and multi-trade construction. We're not a general contractor who farms the work out — we self-perform, and where a licensed designation is required, we bring in vetted professionals who work under our direct management.

What We Do
From a single failing component to a complete facility overhaul — Belfort handles the full scope so you don't have to manage five contractors.
Foundation repair, structural reinforcement, drainage, grading, and site civil work. Built on nearly three decades of combined heavy infrastructure experience.
Full plumbing systems — installation, replacement, repair, and upgrades. Residential and commercial. Work requiring a licensed designation is executed by our vetted licensed plumbers, coordinated and managed directly by Belfort.
Electrical installation and upgrades to support facility operations, lighting, panel work, and code compliance. Where a Master Electrician is required, we work with licensed professionals under our direct management — no coordination overhead passed to the client.
Full interior renovations — framing, drywall, finishing, flooring, ceilings. Commercial and residential.
Exterior cladding, façade restoration, roofing support, landscaping, and curb appeal improvements.

Originally engaged for targeted repairs on an aging hotel property in Huntsville. Site assessment revealed critical failures throughout — structural compromise, failing mechanical systems, deteriorated electrical, and exterior cladding damage far beyond the initial scope.
Belfort is managing the full rebuild in-house: structural remediation, full plumbing and electrical replacement, interior renovation, and exterior façade restoration. Scope changes are communicated proactively and managed without disruption to the project timeline.
Ongoing facility maintenance for the Canadian head office of Epiroc, a global leader in mining and infrastructure equipment. Scope includes interior and exterior maintenance, repairs, and improvements to keep the facility fully operational and professionally maintained.
Facility maintenance services across multiple Mount Pleasant Group locations throughout the Greater Toronto Area. Coordinating consistent standards and responsive service delivery across a distributed portfolio of properties.
Subcontracted by Hi-Tech Structures for concrete placement and thrust block installation for valve chambers. Precision civil work requiring strict tolerances and coordination with underground infrastructure systems.
Full ground-up reconstruction of a commercial restaurant. Scope covered the entire build from structural foundation and framing through to interior finishes — including commercial kitchen installation, serving counters, bathrooms, flooring, drywall, steel stud framing, electrical, and plumbing. Delivered as a complete turnkey project — self-performed throughout, with licensed electricians and plumbers embedded under Belfort's direct management.
Engaged by Sundial Homes to address maintenance items and deficiencies within an active residential development. Scope included identifying, prioritizing, and resolving construction deficiencies to builder standard across the development.
